Designed for everyday drivability, this cam performs exceptionally well with popular combinations like the Edelbrock Performer intake manifold and TCI Saturday Night Special torque converter (1600–1800 stall). Features full-size base circles for durability, it works seamlessly with COMP Cams Evolution hydraulic roller tappets and eliminates the need for dog bones and lifter retainers—components never intended for pre-1985 applications. This camshaft supersedes part number 31-422-8, providing a reliable and efficient upgrade for balanced street performance.
